Meet Zenbo, The Child-Friendly Robot That Can Babysit Your Kids

Pet Robot ASUS unveiled a new talking robot, Zenbo, that besides reminding you to take your meds or pull up a poached salmon recipe—can sit and entertain the kids with stories, games, songs and even dance moves. (Yes, of course, educational.) The key to Zenbo's success may be in its animated face and expressiveness—plus it's child-like size. Robots that can play a role in our lives akin to Robin Williams' "Bicentennial Man" are still not in immediate sight. But Zenbo is certainly a bigger step forward than BB-8. ASUS has priced Zenbo at $599, but a release date? Not yet.
