One of the most versatile smart locks on the market today is the Yale Assure Lock 2. How do we know this? Because we have tested many smart locks over the past 7 years and recently tested the Yale Assure Lock 2. (See our full review here.)This new Yale smart lock is versatile because it can work on any wireless connection. If your smart home works on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave, or soon a Matter wireless connection, the Yale Assure Lock works. All you have to do is make sure the Yale Module inside the Yale lock works with the wireless protocol you need for your home.

Today, Yale customers can easily buy an individual Yale Module for Wi-Fi, Z-Wave Plus, Zigbee, and Apple HomeKit. (Note: Bluetooth is built-in to Yale Assure Lock 2 and does not require a module.)
