However, given the quantity of leaks and rumors circulating the web in recent weeks – not to mention Samsung itself mistakenly publishing photos of an unreleased phone on its own website – we can take some informed guesses as to what these products are.
The video appears to show a new Galaxy Note smartphone on the far-right, complete with S Pen stylus propped up against it. This is likely the phone, also with a stylus, that was mistakenly shown on Samsung's website earlier in July.
Next to this appears to be a new version of the Galaxy Fold, Samsung's folding smartphone. Little is known about the Fold 2, but it is understood to feature a larger external display.
Towards the left of the teaser shot we can make out a smartwatch, which is likely called the Galaxy Watch 3, an Apple Watch rival that has been rumored for several months now. Next to this appears to be a pair of wireless earphones inside an open charging case, and likely an update to Samsung's Galaxy Buds Plus earphones. These are rumored to have an unusual bean-like shape, plus active noise cancellation, and be called Galaxy Buds Live.
Finally, the least-obvious product sits behind the watch and earphones. This looks to be a new tablet, expected to be called the Galaxy Tab S7 which leaked online in more detail earlier the same day.
We have increased the exposure in the image below to give a slightly clearer look at what Samsung has in store:
Five new products teased by Samsung ahead of August 5 eventSamsung
It isn't known if these five products will all go on sale right away after the August 5 event, as it was recently reported the Fold 2 would appear later in 2020. Either way, it's shaping up to be a busy show, with Samsung offering two flagship phones, a new watch, new earphones and a new tablet.
