How did Tribit StormBox Blast Perform - Test Results

Over the past several months, we have been testing the StormBox Box Blast. We have used it outside in the backyard, at tailgate parties for concerts and sporting events. We even used it on the beach recently and were able to connect a second StormBox Blast to create a unique stereo experience. The overall consensus is it is a great-sounding portable Bluetoothspeaker with colorful lights that the kids like when playing music outside at night. The battery life was also exceptional. Thirty hours of battery life on a single charge is one of the longest we have seen in a portable Bluetooth speaker. And having an IPX7 waterproof comes in handy when using the speaker at the beach, poolside, or outside in the rain.

You need to be aware of a few things we found while testing. The first issue is the StormBox Blast's weight. This is not a light speaker. It weighs around 12 pound The speaker does come with a handle for you to carry it around but you might have to switch hands if the walk to the ocean or pool is a little bit of a walk.

The other issue is no smart assistant integration. Some portable Bluetooth speakers either have Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant built-in or work with voice assistants. So if you want to use Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant to select your music for StormBox Blast, you will have to say your voice command directly into your smartphone or mobile device.

Overall, the Tribit StormBox Blast is a great portable Bluetooth speaker with much to offer. It's powerful, portable, and durable, and it has an exceptionally long battery life. And you can control the sound mix with the Tribit app and turn on or off a 32 LED light show that works with your music. However, there is no voice assistant integration, and it is somewhat pricy. But based on what we have seen from testing portable Bluetooth speakers, it's worth it. So, if you're looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker that is waterproof, can deliver great sound and keep the party going all day long, the Tribit StormBox Blast is a one we would recommend.
