Ring's head-to-toe view is great for when visitors come to your door. It also allows you to see more of the field of view and monitor your packages left at the foot of your door any time of the day. If you get a lot of packages delivered, Ring Video Doorbell Pro is a smart video doorbell for you.

Another new feature Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 has that Pro does not is 3D Motion Detection. What is 3D Motion Detection? It is an innovative way to help you monitor the outside of your home. Ring's 3D Motion Detection uses radar technology to identify the distance between an object and your doorbell camera. This will help the doorbell know when someone is within the applicable range to start recording. This type of motion detection is designed to prevent false motion alerts and is only available on Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2.

Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 also has Bird's Eye View, an aerial view of a yard used to monitor motion. This new feature allows you to see if someone is on your property up to 30 feet from your home. It is automatically enabled once you complete the 3D Motion Detection setup process. The Ring Video Doorbell Pro does not have this new feature. It's only available with Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2.
